Hyundai establishes global design unit
The Hyundai Group is establishing a Global Design Division, it has been announced. The new division for the three brands Hyundai, Kia and Genesis will be headed by Group President and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) Luc Donckerwolke. It comprises two divisions: the Kia Global Design Technical Unit headed by Karim Habib, Executive Vice President, and the Hyundai & Genesis Global Design Technical Unit headed by Sang Yup Lee, also Executive Vice President. As part of the changes, a new Genesis Design Center will also be created within the Hyundai & Genesis Global Design Technical Unit. Its head will be Vice President Ilhun Yoon. The Hyundai Design Center will be led by Vice President Simon Loasby. (aum)
