Kia EV9: Powerful up-and-comer
Kia is entering a new dimension with the massive EV9. The brand's new five-meter-long top model is a mixture of SUV and family transporter and could establish a new segment. The EV9 comes onto the market as a rear-wheel drive model for 72,490 euros and as an all-wheel drive model for 76,490 euros. The top model in the series costs 82,380 euros as the GT Line.
Despite its dimensions, the family SUV is surprisingly maneuverable and poses no problems for the person behind the wheel. Thanks to the generous wheelbase of 3.10 meters, the interior has the character of a rolling lounge, and the chassis spares the occupants from the bumps in the road. Kia promises a maximum range of 505 kilometers for the largely fully equipped EV9. Thanks to the 800-volt technology, the EV9 can charge electricity for 249 kilometers in just 15 minutes. (aum)
