Gaming summit with Kia EV9

On December 9, top European "League of Legends" teams will compete against the Korean team T1 led by four-time and current world champion Lee "Faker" Sang-Hyeok at the Berlin Velodrom. Kia, which has long been involved in e-sports and is the main partner of the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) for the fifth year in a row, will be presenting its new electric flagship EV9 as a partner of the event - both in real and virtual form.

Lee "Faker" Sang-Hyeok is one of the absolute superstars in the large "League of Legends" community with more than 150 million registered players worldwide - he has just won the world championship in the video game known as "LoL" for short for the fourth time. Now the South Korean professional gamer is coming to Berlin with his team T1 to compete live for the first time against several top European LoL teams. The importance of this Korean-European summit, which will be broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube, for LoL fans was demonstrated by the advance sales: all tickets for the 7,000 or so seats were sold out after just three hours.

When the seven LoL teams compete against each other next Saturday, the new Kia EV9 will also be in the spotlight. The Koreans have placed their new electric flagship right in the middle of the action so that the players can also take a look at it on their way to the stage. Anyone who wants to get to know the five-metre model and its lounge-like interior better can take a virtual seat in it at the Kia stand in the foyer using VR glasses, open the doors and tailgate, change the colors and much more.
