Alfa Romeo announces small car

Following the discontinuation of the Mito in 2018, Alfa Romeo wants to return to the B segment next year. The small car is to be unveiled in April. It will be named after the city where the company was founded: Milano. It will also be the brand's first model to be available in a fully electric version. Alfa Romeo announces the Milano as a "Sport Urban Vehicle".

The Mito also had a bit of Milan in its name: The first two letters are the license plate number for the city. To then stood for Turin, the headquarters of the then parent company Fiat. (aum)
