With the Milano, Alfa Romeo is reinterpreting the term SUV somewhat. The new model, which is positioned below the Stelvio, is described as a "Sport Urban Vehicle" and will be the first Alfa Romeo to be available with a battery-electric drive. The world premiere has been announced for April 10. The development of the Milano is currently entering its final phase at the legendary test site in Balocco in northern Italy, once home to Alfa Romeo's racing department. The main focus is on the final chassis set-up. Behind the Milano are engineers who were most recently involved in the development of the thoroughbred sports cars Alfa Romeo 4C and 8C Competizione as well as the Giulia GTA and GTAm. (aum)
