The Toyota Land Cruiser can be reserved
Tomorrow, Toyota will begin online reservations for the Land Cruiser, which will be launched in the third quarter of next year. The off-road vehicle will initially be offered at www.toyota.de/land-cruiser-ankuendigung in the higher-value Tec Edition and Executive versions as well as in the limited First Edition, which is only available online. Further variants will follow. Production will start in May.
The new generation of the all-wheel drive classic is once again based on a ladder frame. The new platform ensures significantly better off-road capability and greater frame and body rigidity. For the first time, the Land Cruiser also has electric power steering. In addition, there is Crawl Control and an electronic limited slip differential as well as a combination of Multi-Terrain and Panorama Monitor to support the driver in difficult terrain. Other features on board include a 12.3-inch customizable digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch multimedia screen and heated and ventilated front seats.
The Tec Edition includes a decoupling front stabilizer bar for better handling on uneven surfaces and more comfort on the road. Other features include 20-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, panoramic roof, JBL premium audio package with 14 speakers and a head-up display. The vehicle is optionally available as a seven-seater.
The First Edition is the top version and can only be ordered online in limited numbers during the pre-sales phase. It is based on the Tec Edition and features exclusive 18-inch wheels, classic round headlights, a two-tone exterior paint finish in sand or smoky blue and "First Edition" lettering on the inside of the door.
