Skoda has opened the order books for the second generation of the Skoda Kodiaq. The SUV, which will be launched in the first quarter of next year, is now available to order. Initially, Skoda is offering the Selection equipment line with a 150 hp (110 kW) 2.0-liter diesel engine and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The price is 45,500 euros. Alternatively, there is an all-wheel drive version with 193 PS (142 kW) for 49,700 euros. The 1.5 TSI mild hybrid will be added to the range in the first quarter; the entry-level price of the new Kodiaq will then be 41,990 euros.
Further variants will follow, including a plug-in hybrid with an electric range of over 100 kilometers. (aum)
