Skoda significantly increased its sales last year. The brand delivered 866,600 vehicles worldwide, which is 18.5 percent or over 135,000 units more than a year ago. With 157,800 cars sold (up 17.6 percent), Germany remains the largest single market. Here, the company moved up to fifth place in the registration statistics. With 87,800 deliveries (+23.4%), Skoda also recorded a significant increase on the Czech domestic market. In contrast, sales declined in the rest of Eastern Europe, in China and in India.
