Skoda is back on the ice

In addition to cycling, Skoda is also involved in ice hockey as a sponsor and automotive partner. The company is supporting the World Championship (-26.5.) in its home country, the Czech Republic, which begins on Friday, with 45 vehicles. These are the Kodiaq, Superb Combi and Enyaq in a special livery. Skoda will also be showcasing models from these series at the two venues in Prague and Ostrava, together with the rainbow-colored Enyaq Coupé Respectline. During the games, the brand's logo will be displayed in the center circle of the ice rinks. Spectators are also invited to demonstrate their field hockey talent in various activities. Skoda will also be following the World Cup on its digital channels.

In addition, the car manufacturer will once again produce a glass trophy designed by Skoda Design for the best player of the tournament, who will be honored immediately after the final on May 26.

Skoda is supporting the Ice Hockey World Championship for the 32nd time. In 1992, the brand was involved for the first time as a mobility partner. One year later, the Czech car manufacturer became the official main sponsor and thus holds the Guinness World Record for the longest main sponsorship of a World Championship in the history of the sport.
