Fiat was once again the strongest brand in the Stellantis Group last year. The Italians sold 1.35 million vehicles worldwide in 2023. That was twelve percent more than in the previous year. Fiat was the market leader in its home country of Italy (12.8 percent) as well as in Brazil (21.8 percent market share), Turkey (15.7 percent) and Algeria (78.6 percent). In these countries, where the company has its own plants, individual models of the brand also occupy the top position in the respective registration statistics: The Panda was the best-selling car in Italy, the Strada pick-up in Brazil and the Fiat Tipo in Turkey and Algeria.
The Fiat 500 Elektro was the most popular electric car in Europe in the small car segment. And with a market share of 26.1 percent, the Ducato dominated the European van market. (aum)
