Record production at DAF

Last year, the Dutch truck manufacturer produced over 69,800 vehicles at its two plants in Eindhoven and Leyland (England). That was more than ever before. The brand remained the strongest importer in Germany. In the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and Bulgaria, DAF was the market leader for heavy trucks. Over 7500 vehicles were sold outside the EU, for example to South Africa, Australia and Colombia. DAF Components also contributed to the successful year with the delivery of more than 1850 engines from the American parent company Paccar to leading coach, bus and special vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
