Web series to class victory in the Africa Eco Race
As a start in the Dakar Rally was not possible due to the displacement regulations, Harley-Davidson decided at last year's European Bike Week to compete in the Africa Eco Race instead, which took place from December 30, 2023 to January 14, 2024. Spanish Dakar pro Joan Pedrero ended up taking first place in the Maxitrail category with the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. Apart from minor modifications to the radiator due to the desert conditions, it was a standard motorcycle. Five episodes on H-D.de/ecorace now show Joan Pedrero's ride over around 6000 kilometers from Monaco to Lac Rose near Dakar in Senegal. (aum)
