Skoda starts production of the new Octavia

Skoda has started series production of the upgraded Octavia in Mladá Boleslav, which will also be available with Chat GTP and up to 265 hp (195 kW) in the future. A higher proportion of sustainable materials will be used in the interior, particularly for the seat covers, dashboard and door panels. Production of the series is to be relocated to Kvasiny this year in order to increase production. At the same time, this move will free up additional capacity at the main plant for the Enyaq and the nine Elroq.

The Octavia remains the brand's bestseller. Around 7.5 million of the four model generations have been built since 1996. (aum)
