Lexus opens "Time" exhibition at Milan Design Week

Lexus has opened the "Time" exhibition at this year's Milan Design Week. The two installations by three international artists can be seen until April 21 at the Art Point and Art Garden of Superstudio Più in Milan's famous Tortona design district. Milan Design Week is the world's largest international design event.

With the exhibition, Toyota's luxury subsidiary wants to show how software and energy innovations can influence the future development of vehicles and how they combine luxury and CO2 neutrality. The artworks are inspired by the LF-ZC concept car, with which Lexus has illustrated the possibilities of a next-generation electric vehicle.

For example, "Beyond the Horizon" by designer Hideki Yoshimoto and his studio Tangent depicts a future mobility that evolves through software innovations. The work was produced in collaboration with musician and composer Keiichiro Shibuya and also includes an immersive soundscape. Marjan van Aubel's work "8 Minutes and 20 Seconds", named after the time it takes for light to travel from the sun to the earth, demonstrates how solar design and technology can be combined with the goal of a carbon-neutral future.
