Renault Group sells more cars

The Renault Group sold 2,235,345 vehicles last year. This is nine percent more than in 2022. In Europe, the Group achieved growth of 18.6 percent, while the overall market grew by 13.9 percent.

With 1,548,748 vehicles, the Renault brand recorded an increase in sales of 9.4 percent and is the most successful French car manufacturer worldwide. Renault recorded growth of 19.9 percent in light commercial vehicles. The market as a whole only grew by 10.4 percent.

In Europe, the core brand recorded 977,635 deliveries (passenger cars and light commercial vehicles), which corresponds to an increase of 19.3 percent (overall market: 13.9 percent). Dacia recorded a 17.4 percent increase in sales in Europe and moved up to eleventh place among the most successful brands with 562,890 vehicles. The brand now occupies tenth place in the passenger car segment. Alpine continued its double-digit growth of the past three years with 4328 cars and an increase of 22.1 percent. In Germany, registrations rose by 34 percent to 405 vehicles. (aum)
