Skoda produced over 888,000 cars
Skoda built over 880,000 cars last year. That is around 100,000 units more than in 2022. Over 781,000 vehicles were produced in the Czech plants, more than two thirds of them at the main plant in Mladá Boleslav. Skoda also produced over 1.7 million axles, almost 1.04 million gearboxes and almost 470,000 engines, which are also used in other VW Group vehicles. The company also produced 313,231 battery systems for electric and plug-in hybrid cars.
Almost 18,500 Skoda cars rolled off the production line at the four Chinese plants. Despite the war, 2580 cars were built from semi-knocked-down assembly kits at the Solomonovo plant in Ukraine. (aum)
