Cupra continues to expand its network of city garages worldwide. To mark the Spanish brand's sixth birthday, the world's largest location has now opened in Madrid. In the heart of the centrally located Salamanca district, Cupra CEO Wayne Griffiths also welcomed Jordi Hereu, the Spanish Minister for Industry and Tourism, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, Mayor of Madrid, and Jaume Collboni, Mayor of Barcelona. The two show cars DarkRebel and Raval as well as the new Tavascan were among the exhibits at the opening event.
The new City Garage, with an area of 1,369 square meters spread over two floors, includes a multidisciplinary exhibition space, a restaurant and an auditorium. It is the ninth location of its kind - after Mexico City, Milan, Munich, Lisbon, Rotterdam, Sydney, Berlin and Paris. (aum)
