Skoda announces small SUV for India

Skoda has announced a small SUV for the Indian market for next year, which, with a length of less than four meters, will take advantage of the domestic excise tax. The vehicle will be developed and built locally. It is the third independent model for the subcontinent after the Kushaq SUV, which is over 20 centimeters longer, and the Slavia saloon. Skoda involved customers and brand fans in the search for a name for the new entry-level model. The car manufacturer has had seven suggested names protected and published, but is also accepting other ideas. (aum)
