Toyota upgrades the bZ4X and lowers the price

Toyota is upgrading the bZ4X and reducing the price by ten percent at the same time. The entry-level "Comfort" version is available from 42,900 euros. The standard range of the electric car is up to 513 kilometers.

When the route planning function of the cloud-based navigation system is activated, the driver of a bZ4X can now find out directly when and where the battery charge will reach 50 or 20 percent on the rest of the route - and can plan appropriate stops at suggested charging points. Even if the vehicle is switched off while charging, the instrument cluster shows the remaining time until the high-voltage battery is 80 percent charged, as well as the currently available range with the air conditioning activated or switched off. Also on board as standard is the new heat exchanger, which shortens DC charging times, especially in cool outside temperatures.

The most popular and middle of the three equipment lines to date will in future be known as "Team Germany" from other model series and now starts at a price of 47,490 euros. Matrix LED headlights are now included as standard. In addition to the front seats and steering wheel, the windshield can also be heated for the first time. The Toyota Smart Connect Plus infotainment system now has an enlarged 12.3-inch display. The top model is the bZ4X "Lounge" with prices starting at 49,990 euros.

Toyota promotes the purchase of a bZ4X, which is also available with optional all-wheel drive, with an electric bonus of 8000 euros. It is granted to both private and commercial customers regardless of the payment method (cash purchase, leasing or financing). (aum)
