Porsche Taycan achieves almost 590 kilometers
Porsche has conducted its first range test with the next generation Taycan under real-life conditions. On journeys between Los Angeles and San Diego, the electric sports car sedan covered up to 587 kilometers. The four Taycans drove at the maximum speed of 75 mph (approx. 120 km/h) permitted on Interstates 405 and 5.
The vehicles were equipped with the larger Performance Battery Plus. With more than 300 kW charging power over several minutes, the battery capacity could be increased from ten to 80 percent several times in less than 20 minutes. (aum)
