Nissan Townstar panel van with second row of seats

Nissan is expanding its Townstar panel van range to include a crew cab. This version is available for the L2 length version with a 1.3-liter petrol engine and 130 hp (96 kW). With a load volume of 2.1 cubic meters, it offers space for five people. With the second row of seats folded down, the transport volume increases to a class-best 3.1 cubic meters. The new variant of the L2 version of the 4.91 meter long Nissan Townstar comes with two glazed sliding doors and rear glazing with windscreen wipers as standard and is available at prices starting at 26,880 euros (net). It is based on the Acenta equipment line, which has been enhanced with additional comfort and technology highlights. In addition to a driver information system with 4.2-inch TFT display, rear parking aid, cruise control, crosswind assist and central locking with remote control, the airbag package, LED lighting in the load compartment, heated front seats and an electric parking brake are also on board. A trailer coupling, the Driver Assistance Plus package with an eight-inch screen and smartphone mirroring, LED fog lights, reversing camera and 360-degree side protection are available as options. Nissan offers a five-year warranty on the Townstar, which is largely identical to the Kangoo from alliance partner Renault. (aum)
